Cleanaway - Plastic Free July 2019

Plastic Free July is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution. Each year, millions of people around the globe take the challenge and choose to refuse single-use plastics. For this year's take on Plastic-free July, we take the light and positive direction of dealing with plastic by seeing it as a useful commodity in recycling. Plastic items won't be a problem in the environment if we dispose of them properly and if we recycle them right. Any type of litter, if disposed of properly can be recycled to a new material making them reusable.

Humour Comic

On this project, I was tasked to illustrate a comic based on everyday scenarios that would make people rethink how will they deal with their plastic consumption.

Early Concept

This is my first concept for the banner, although we're going in a light and fun direction this time we didn't go for it because it's too cutesy for the brand.

I just thought of including it here because these plastic containers are so cute 🤭. I made these "cartoonized" containers with the concept of the bottles having personalities. These are their reactions every time people are having the wrong conversation about plastic instead of recycling them properly and having a second life through recycling.

These are my container characters: Water bottle, Juice gallon, Mustard container, and Yogurt tub

I previously worked as a Graphic Designer at Cleanaway's Digital Marketing team.

All these images were cultivated from concept to final art together with my teammates in the Creatives team: Copywriters, Creative Director & Brand Manager.
